Transport Emergency Card (TREM CARD): When transporting Hazardous products by road in South Africa its legislation for the driver to carry a TREM CARD which tells the Authorities what products are being carried, the UN number and proper shipping name. In the event of an emergency the card advises the driver and authorities of emergency numbers, special actions to be taken, PPE to be worn and first aid that may be required.

Dangerous Goods Declaration for Airfreight: The Dangerous Goods Declaration is a document that all Airlines require when accepting Hazardous goods being transported by Air.  The document is self explanatory giving the Airline details of the product, UN Number, Shipping names, Packing Group, Packing Instructions, Labels required, quantity, Shippers Details, Consignee Details, emergency numbers and whether the cargo must travel on Cargo Aircraft only or not.  Only certified / trained staff in IATA DGR Cat 6 are authorised to sign these documents.
